I guess I’m just barely catch up with my blog’s posting.
2011 March could be the most busy month I’ve ever had. Seven subjects with loads of assessments, assignments, tests and blablabla…
Still, I’m able to squeeze two days of free time and went to Genting Highlands.
In case you don’t know, Genting Highlands is a mountain resort with theme parks and legal land-based casino. It is dubbed as the “City of Entertainment”.
(the photo above has nothing to do with Genting…)
White balance nightmare…
My friend had a free coupon for a night stay at First World Hotel, and coincidentally, we’re free on that day.
So we arranged our schedule, booked the room and off we go.
Genting Highlands is accessible by car and a cable car. I don’t recommend to drive up because lack of skill + road condition = perfect recipe of disaster.
Genting Skyway Cable car is the safer way to reach your destination. It is also known as world’s fastest mono cable car system (21.6km/h) and longest cable car system in South East Asia (3.38km).
Love the misty feel.
First World Hotel, listed in Guinness World Records being the world’s largest hotel with a total of 6228 rooms.
They forgot to add in “hotel with smallest room ever”.
Durian fest <3
Don’t know whether the durians at there is fresh or not.. but foreigners don’t even know about that.
At the First World Hotel’s indoor theme park.
Was so excited about the trip, and my hand shakes a lot.
Too fast.
They have “Ripley’s Believe it or not!” museum.
Experience how winter feels.
Went out for a walk at night.
Didn’t brought my camera stand because it just ruins the mood.
But I’m impressed with Lumi-chan’s ability to take good pictures in low light condition.
Model of Genting Highlands.
The next day, we went to the outdoor theme park.
The weather was cloudy.
You like roller coasters?
The all-time-favoriteĀ space shot.
Planned to had a race, but the queue is just horribly long..
On the way down…
It was an awesome trip.
If you have the chance to visit Malaysia, do head up to Genting Highlands.
Back to normal life…
On da way to campus.
Presentations..
Editing photos for this post.
It’s week 13 now, I had left one practical assessment and one assignment before the finals on week 15.
That’s all for this monthly post, hope you all enjoyed the photos.
Good pics as always. Looks like you had a good time
at the Highlands.
Awesome. If I ever make a trip near that area, I’ll have to keep that place in mind. Great pics.
It is certainly a nice place to visit, especially for releasing stress.
