About Comic Fiesta
Comic Fiesta or CF is Malaysia’s longest-running convention that focuses on animation, comics and games (ACG). This is a true event by fans for fans, organized by a group of passionate individuals, and supported by the community from both local and international.
It started as a small exhibition at Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall in 2002, after 10 years, CF has grown into the premier ACG in Malaysia. 2012 marks the tenth anniversary of CF, set to delight close to 20,000 visitors on the 22nd & 23rd of December 2012 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Danny Choo
Danny Choo resides in Tokyo and runs a small media production company called Mirai Inc who’s main focus is to share Japanese culture with the world though web, TV, mobile, print, products and conferences.
Danny works with Japanese companies such as figurine manufacturers, anime/game producers, print publishers, e-commerce retailers and the Japanese government to bridge the gap between Japan and the world by aggregating/disseminating information and providing the technical and conventional means to do so through the “Culture Japan” brand.
Redjuice
Redjuice gained widespread attention in 2011 for his work as the character designer of the hit anime Guilty Crown. He is a prolific illustrator and is also extremely active in the field of character design for games and TV animation. Redjuice is also member of the creative group supercell, and has a part in designing a number of the group’s CD jackets.

Pen Name：Kurata Yoshimi (Chinese: 仓田芳美 / Japanese: 倉田よしみ)
Debuting Work: Moe Izuru (Chinese: 萌出 / Japanese: 萌え出ずる…) 1978
Iconic Works: Aji Ichi Monme (Chinese: 厨艺小天王 / Japanese: 味いちもんめ)
A holder of the prestigious Shogakukan award, Kurata Yoshimi is most well known for his manga Aji Ichi Monme.
Born in Japan’s Akita Prefecture, he was an assistant to Tetsuya Chiba (Japanese: 千葉 徹彌) before debuting with Moe Izuru.
Originally an artist for Children Comics, he joined the ranks of shonen mangaka in 1986 with his work – Kaiun Salesman Sugiyama Hitoshi-kun (Chinese: 招福推销员 杉本等先生 Japanese: 開運セールスマン杉山等くん)
In 1994, he was awarded the 44th Shogakukan Manga Award for his signature work Aji Ichi Monme, which ran for 33 volumes and was also adapted to a live action series!
He is currently Professor of Otemae University and also a member of MANGA JAPAN, outside of creating comics, he now actively participates in community projects catered to nurturing new creative talents.

The largest amateur creative art (Doujin) market in Malaysia, with over 100 booths showcasing the best talents Malaysia has to offer in the field of visual arts and illustrations.
Cosplay
Cosplay (Costume-Play) is a ACG subculture where passionate fans dress up and act as their favourite character from an animated series, film, games, or literary work. CF houses on of the biggest cosplay community in Malaysia with over a thousand passionate cosplayers attending.

From stage games and computer games to CF’s very own CF Side Quest will keep you occupied and delighted the entire day.

Gathering the best animation, comics and games companies Malaysia has to offer, Comic Fiesta showcases both home-grown and international commercial products and works, sure to interest and inspire all ACG fans, as well as general attendees.
